During the Thursday, Friday and Saturday luncheons, there will be a virtual art display organized by Altered States of the Arts, a large coalition of artists from around the country; the Creative Vision Factory of Wilmington, Del.; and Peerlink National Technical Assistance Center.
In addition, an art slide show in celebration of SAMHSA’s National Wellness Week and organized by the Peerlink National Technical Assistance Center is running on a loop in the Wellness Room.

Pre-conference Arts Event:
Creative Dialogue: Creating, Teaching and Celebrating
Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Caribbean III
This special event is planned for all early bird attendees who are artistically inclined!
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Planned activities include painting, collaging, “drawing our hands with meaning,” pillowcase painting, making music, and writing poetry.
3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Participants will gather in a circle to share their creative endeavors and talk about the importance of art as part of wellness and healing.
